"Hey look everyone! I have the new CD!"
Everyone's head's turned when they heard Googoo (The GBD) burst into the room with a CD in his hand.
"What CD?" I asked while chomping on a sweet.
"Charlie the Unicorn goes to Candy Mountain!" exclaimed Googoo. "It's a made up story about how two unicorns trick Charlie the unicorn into going to a fake candy mountain!"
"Cool, let's see."
So Doary put the disk in the CD player, and we started to watch.

I belong in Candy Mountain
Whoa! I just walked through that damn bright light and I see Melted chocolate walkways, Ice-cream mountains and gingerbread-men and their cottages! what on earth is all of this?!
"hello, welcome to candy mountain" read the sugar-coated signboard
Candy Mountain?!
Where on earth am I?If I am even on earth?
Holy candy!
I continued to walk forward through the sugar and candy coated place. When I plucked a flower from the ground, poof came out the cotton candy! And boy did it look yummy! I ate it happily as I continued to explore more of this Candy Mountain.
I passed a cottage which was supposedly made for a gingerbread-man. It was made of biscuit and covered in multicolor sprinkles and whipped cream. Just looking at it made my mouth water.
And then I heard voices.
"No! what is she doing here?" A voice whispered, the sound was so soft I had to strain closer to hear. "This is a secret society!"
"It's not our fault she has met the secret portal," another deeper voice whispered calmly. "Maybe she could be the one."
"No!" a third voice squeaked. "Our society must always remain secret! Don't you remember what happened the last time huma- oh, boy here she comes!" It said as I walked in to check who was there. "Hide!"
I burst through the door. The crumbs fell down the path as I stared at the cottage.
It was amazing! Exactly like a house, only filled in candy! There was Christmas decorations rounding up the walls, sweet Christmas carols playing from a juke box, and the smell of.... I inhaled. Ah, freshly baked cookies.
I walked over to a table, where a basket of cupcakes stood. i considered taking one, but then thought of the owner of this house, and what they've just said.
The secret portal? A secret cave? a secret society? Am I an intruder, then? They did sound highly disgusted and disapproving.
And what did they mean by 'the one'? does that mean a chosen one, of such? This is a secret fantasy society, maybe there were such things.
Yet what happened the last time humans found out about this place? If they actually did, why haven't I've heard it in any of our history books? This is just nonsense!
And extremely exhausting to think about. If they didn't want me, fine. I turned to walk out, but something caught my chocolate brown eye.
Its glitter sparkled when the sun shined. a thin, silk red ribbon bounded it to the magic-like glass ball, which had a snowflake hanging from above. The base of this magic globe was shaped and decorated with candy sticks and sparkly glitter. My eyes wondered towards the snow flake, which looked so real it couldn't be carved from stone or drawn onto paper. And as I watched it with big eyes, it spoke my name.
I moved towards it, all worries of the mysterious conversation temporarily forgotten. Because at that moment, I saw my life. Not the one I had originally planned, but my destiny, the one I had never, ever planned but wanted so badly right now. I reached out for it.
"No! Do not touch the magic globe!" An angry voice called from behind me.
I turned around to see who was intruding my precious moment.
There was a walking lollipop that was shaped like Doraemon, and another hedgehog that looks like it has just been brought out from the oven, and a really sweet smelling gingerbread man that had multicolor buttons trailing down its body. I stared at them.
"What?" I recognized the lollipop's voice as the one that insulted me just now. "Your acting like you've never seen a talking lollipop before."
As if that sentence helped me get my voice back, i said,"Actually, I have never seen a talking lollipop before. Thank you for understanding."
The lollipop fumed; the gingerbread man chuckled.
"But you were attempting to steal away the magic insignia of all of Candy Mountain!" The lollipop roared. "No one can ever remove the magic insignia from it's place unless she or he is the chosen one!"
I continued in my teasing tone. "There is a he and a she here? are you surer you're not all its?"
"Stop changing the subject!" I turned my attention towards the hedgehog, who was, apparently, squeaking at me angrily. "Doary is right!"
I turned back to stare at the lollipop. "Doary?" I joked. "Is that your name?" I chuckled.
"Stop it!" the lo- I mean, Doary yelled at me (seriously, i could live forever and not get over the fact that a male lollipop's name is Doary) "This is serious!"
I finally caught up with their mood. Really, no matter how much I try to turn this into a joke, they just get more pissed.
I stared at them angrily. "Look," I snarled at them, putting as much venom into my voice as I could. "I didn't choose to come here, I didn't even know this place existed. But according to the secret" I air quoted around the word 'secret'. "conversation you guys had just now, I don't belong here. So I am going to just march off right now." I turned to leave.
"Wait" A deep voice called.
I turned around and narrowed my eyes at them. The slick lollipop seemed to be saying "good riddance"; the hedgehog looked frfom me to the gingerbread man to the slick lollipop, as if looking for advice. The gingerbread dude hesitated.
" I understand your confusion." the GBD (gingerbread dude) started slowly, "but this is Candy Mountain, the only place in the universe where you can find real, grown candy. Not even you humans can make good candy like this. The magic insignia," he pointed at the snow globe. "is the essence of why we are still here. Only the chosen one can remove the magic insignia without destroying us all."
I stared at him. He did explain a lot to me. But instead of clearing my thoughts, it only jumbled them up even more.
"But it called for me." I told him, my voice hoarse, "It called for me, it called for my soul."
The GBD's eyes widened (is that possible?!). "It did?" he asked eagerly. The other two's attention also got caught and they both turned their heads to stare at me.
I nodded nervously. What was with all the sudden excitement?
"Pick it up and see what happens." the GBD encouraged me. 'Go on."
"What? So soon?" the hedgehog squeaked. "Don't you think we should-"
Doary placed one hand over the hedgehog's mouth "Get on with it?" Doary finished for it.
"Yes, yes." The GBD said. "Go on, do it." he encouraged me, smiling.
I turned to stare at the magic insignia, as they had called it. It really did call for me. Was it really true that I am the chosen one?
Choose well, and the choice you've picked will guide you throughout your life.
It came to me life an inspiration. I took the globe off the stand.
Everyone held their breath.
Nothing happened.
"Wow, that was dramatic." I said coolly. But when I turned around I met them beaming at me.
"What?"
"It's true," the GBD sounded so happy he could cry if that was possible. "Our world can finally rejoice, we have found our leader once again."
Suddenly, I found happiness. Inside, my soul was shouting joyfully. It has finally come to the place where I can rule, where I can shine, where i can-
"Okay, first, I want to eat as much as I want." I said, grinning at them.
"As you wish, my queen." the lollipop said happily. "But first we must call the ceremony."
Ceremony?
Suddenly, I heard a loud blow-horn, and everywhere I heard joyous shouts and victory calls. Tears overwhelmed me. It's time to rock, Benielle Jeffenia, I thought to myself as I stepped out to see the whole of Candy Mountain.
When everyone saw me, they yelled joyfully and victoriously and happily. And when I held up my hand, they stopped.
At first, I had no idea what to say, I mean, I'm talking to a bunch of candy here! But with encouraging smiles from the crowd, i found my voice and said, "Today we rejoice the joining of our worlds! Hail to everything, good, sweet, scrumptious and yummy!" And the crowd went wild again.
The GBD draped a silky cloth over me, a sign that the queen has come back. I looked at the crowd and my new friends, and I knew that i have found my place. Right here in Candy Mountain.

The discovery
The rain was pouring heavily, and there wasn't any shelter available. I ran towards the nearest tree I could find, but with one stroke of lightning the tree made a large snap and broke into a nice half. I ran.
As if the lightning was chasing after me, I ran as fast as I could to the next available shelter. It was covered in dirt and there was a huge hole. It called for me. I stood there, not knowing what to do, was it safe?
Another quick stroke of lightning made up my mind.
I rushed into the gigantic cave. There was no light or heat. There was only the darkness swallowing me, the coolness brushing against my bare skin. This was the most horrific prom night ever.
I walked deeper and deeper into the cave, wishing that I could just rot there and then, or just crumble into dust and blend in with the dirt or get wet by the water that had ruined so thoroughly my low cut sea-blue dress.
As I walked, I thought of my friends, how they have left me here, how they had said that they would never let me go, and how they did....
Suddenly I saw light. My first thought is that the rain must have stopped. Then I noticed the light. Too bright, too unusual. Too.....merry.......
I walked closer and closer into the light until I was swallowed by it.
